On 18 March 2024, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Rastislav Chovanec, held talks with the Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Mathias Cormann, who arrived in Bratislava for the launch of the new OECD Economic Survey of Slovakia.

For the first time in the history of its membership of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Slovakia held the chairmanship of the most important of its standing committees for two years. The Slovak Republic, represented by Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Slovakia to the OECD František Ružička, took over the chairmanship of the OECD Executive Committee in January 2022. After a particularly successful mandate, the OECD Council extended it to 2023.

On 13 November 2023, the Government of the Slovak Republic approved its manifesto.

On 7 October 2023, Miroslav Wlachovský, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, spoke at the GLOBSEC Tatra Summit 2023 international conference held at Štrbské Pleso in the High Tatras mountains.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Ingrid Brocková, and Carsten Staur, Permanent Chair of the Development Assistance Committee of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD/DAC), co-chaired the traditional "Tidewater" format in Bratislava on 28-29 June 2023. The discussions, attended by more than 30 senior representatives of the Committee, covered reforms of financial institutions, achieving the 2030 Agenda's Sustainable Development Goals, and scaling up the delivery of development assistance at times of military conflict and other crises.

Concert. to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Slovak diplomacy – a gala event of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic took place in the Winter Riding Hall of Bratislava Castle on Thursday, 29 June 2023.

On 24 June, the Slovak Republic commemorates the Day of Remembrance and Respect to Victims of the Communist Regime - all those wrongly convicted and imprisoned between 1948 and 1989. On this date, 24 June 1954, a doctor, political prisoner and Catholic dissident Silvester Krčméry was unjustly convicted of alleged treason, after being tortured.

On 7 and 8 June 2023, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Ingrid Brocková, attended the ministerial meeting of the Council of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris. The ministers discussed the future reconstruction of Ukraine, economic resilience with an emphasis on stronger growth, and innovative zero-emission technologies.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Ingrid Brocková, and Carsten Staur, Chair of the Development Assistance Committee of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD’s DAC), addressed a joint meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Committee on European Affairs of the National Council of the Slovak Republic in Bratislava on 25 April 2023.

OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann and members of the diplomatic corps from OECD member states assigned to Ukraine symbolically raised the flag of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) at the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Kyiv today, 28 February 2023. In doing so, they formally opened the OECD-Ukraine Liaison Office for Ukraine, which will, based on the memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic and the OECD, operate within the premises of the Slovak Embassy.

Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Rastislav Káčer, confirmed that Slovakia contributed almost 27,000 euro to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development to establish an analytical department for Ukraine at the beginning of January.

On 14 and 15 June 2022, Ingrid Brocková, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, participated in an informal meeting of ministers of the OECD Development Assistance Committee member countries, a meeting that is referred to, for historical reasons, as "Tidewater".

The OECD Ministerial Council Meeting (MCM) started, as is tradition, with the presentation of the latest OECD Economic Outlook, which primarily reflects the developments and economic impact of the war in Ukraine.

Štátna tajomníčka rezortu diplomacie Ingrid Brocková dnes (14. marca 2022) otvorila videokonferenciu v rámci série rokovaní s predstaviteľmi tímu Direktoriátu pre rozvojovú spoluprácu Organizácie pre hospodársku spoluprácu a rozvoj (OECD), ktorí realizujú hodnotenie priebežného pokroku Slovenska v plnení odporúčaní z partnerského hodnotenia Výboru OECD pre rozvojovú pomoc (tzv. OECD DAC peer review)...

Štátna tajomníčka Ministerstva zahraničných vecí a európskych záležitostí SR Ingrid Brocková spolu s predsedom ukrajinského parlamentu Ruslanom Stefanchukom otvorila dnes, 8. decembra 2021, na pozvanie OECD webinár pre poslancov Najvyššej rady Ukrajiny, ktorého cieľom bolo na základe skúseností Slovenska priblížiť a zdôrazniť význam prijímania štandardov OECD, ako i príspevok jej expertízy k zlepšovaniu politického a legislatívneho rámca krajiny.

Štátna tajomníčka Ministerstva zahraničných vecí a európskych záležitostí SR Ingrid Brocková sa 5. októbra 2021 v Paríži zúčastnila na v poradí už druhom, jesennom zasadnutí Rady Organizácie pre hospodársku spoluprácu a rozvoj na ministerskej úrovni (ďalej OECD MCM).
